TRANSFER!!

It´s crazy how fast time is flying by. It surprised me to hear that Shad is coming home soon, I remember being at his house when he opened his call. That was a cool night, I remember he was so happy to get his call. I got an email from Aubrey today, cuz after you guys told me she was engaged i wrote her and told her she was dumb haha just kiddin, apparently she had emailed me and told me all about it but it never got here. She actually emailed me from Mexico....she´s on her honeymoon right now...exactly what a missionary wants to hear hahaha. She said that mom will be hearing from her when she gets back cuz you didn´t go to her wedding. So a lot of stuff is changing. That´s cool that Corley went over the other day to see you guys, i´m sure he´s a little bit bored right now, seeing that not very many of our buddies have gotten home yet. AF won´t be the same until we all get there!
Speaking of my birthday, i was thinking of several things i need while doing my packing, I need a new pair of black pants, mine are destroyed, i´m not sure what size i wear anymore, maybe a 32-32. I also need more garments, i think i use the drilux kind, size medium. a few socks would be nice, more facewash, another thing of gel, and whatever else you guys want to send me. :)
We had a really good week to end the transfer. We have been working hard, and were blessed a ton. First, after two weeks of not having contact with one of our investigators, Roxana, and believing that we had lost that family, we had an awesome experience with her. She called us and told us that she had been out of town for the holidays and asked if we could come over on Tuesday. We went over and she was waiting there with her Book of Mormon on the table. We talked for a while about how Christmas and New year´s went, and then i asked her if she was able to read and pray during the Holidays. She said that she had and that she had a really special experience. She was in Talca visiting her mother in law with the fam, and one night she was upstairs in her bedroom, and she had been thinking a lot about baptism and what we had been teaching. She kneeled down and told us that she prayed and asked with all her energy if it was true what we were teaching and if God could let her feel the spirit. She told us that it was a very warm night, and that the windows were all closed, but that when she asked him she felt, how she described it, a wind rush through the room, and a strong calm and peace came over her, and her first thought was, ¨I need to get baptize.¨ We were pretty excited about that when she told us haha. It really was a huge testimony builder to me and gave us a lot of confidence to continue inviting people to pray and ask God if this message is true, cuz we know that he will answer. Her whole family is against her decision to get baptized. They´re all really Catholic, which means they just don´t want to stop partying, cuz they rarely go to church. Roxana was actually a Catholic missionary before, but when she told her family about her decision and they told her they were against it, she told them that she was going to get baptized anyway cuz she knows it´s what she needs. She´s getting baptized next week. Cool stuff.
We had several great experiences this week, another being with a married couple named Laura and Agustin. We´ve been sharing with Laura for a while, and were not able to share with her husband until recently, but they´ve both attended church twice and Laura is really wanting to get baptized, and she wants to do it with her husband. He´s a great guy, but still isn´t sure if he wants to do it, cuz he knows that it will bring a lot of responsibility and doesn´t want to fail afterwards. They really like the church and they´re progressing really well, and both have baptismal dates for the 23rd of this month! They´re awesome and we´ve been able to talk about eternal marriage and the blessings that it brings into our lives, and Laura really likes that idea.
On Sunday we had about 6 investigators in church and were happy about that, The work just keeps on progressing here in Molina, we just need to work with these new converts to help them get callings and serve in the church, so they can be more firm in their testimonies. It´s always sad to see someone you care about a lot forget what they felt, and stop continueing in the Gospel. Being here for so long, i´ve already seen some Converts go inactive, but hopefully the ward and the Elders will be able to continue helping them.
I´ve really loved my time here in Molina, and all the families i´ve been able to get to know, and see all the progress that many have made. One of my converts, José Olivera, told us last night that they had an interview with the bishop, and that he´s going to get the priesthood on Sunday, and if they prepare and are firm in their callings, that they could enter the temple in July as a family and be sealed! That was really awesome to hear and we all ended the night in tears, they are a really special family.
My era and legacy (as Elder Balkman says haha) here at Molina is officially coming to a close. I got a call from our Zone Leaders this morning that i´m heading out, and i´m going down way south to a place called Penco, in the sector Frutillares (pronounced Frutiyares). I´m actually going to be living in a city called Tome, which has a lot of hills and is right on the beach. i´ve heard a lot of good things about it, and i´m definitely excited about going to the beach, and escaping the heat that up here in the northern part of the mission. I´m going to be living with 3 other elders and was excited to hear that cuz i remember that in talca i had tons of fun with the other Elders in the house. I´m actually going to be living with Elder Pierce who´s also from AF and was in the MTC with me, and attended Elder Pitcher´s and Perry´s ward back home, so it´ll be fun to chill with them down there.
Thanks for the email and the pics, and for everybody´s prayers and support. Tell the whole family hi and that i love them, i´ll talk to you guys next week in Frutillares and send you all pics.
